Creative December 3

So, I got this idea to do something to a jumper. Normally I would be like 'yeh, welll.. I'm too lazy now' but no! Not this time!! Just finish something one time!

And that's what happened. I got a cheap sweater. What's up with the mustache you ask? I needed a super cool disguise, that's why. 

Then, I made some magic happen and the result can be seen below. 

I still needed a disguise, because of various secret reasons.

Yep, it didn't stick with one post. I've been knitting for over a week now. 

I thought by myself 'let's get knitting' got some yarn and needles..

It's surprisingly easy, it only took 10 minute before I was knitting away.

So, I saw some of this big papers laying around at school. So I nicked one because I got inspired!
And here is the result , it's a Dalek!!!!


I haven't been drawing for something like 7 years. I drew this with some old pencils I found.
It took me about a week. But it was much fun, trying out different techniques.

Much Ado About Nothing

Yehh, I went to see Much Ado About Nothing yesterday!! I have read something about it on the internet, which made me curious so I wanted to see it and it has Clark Gregg(he is so funny) in it and it is directed by Joss Whedon yehh.
The day before yesterday I felt about googling it to see if it was in cinema's already when I noticed the film is from 2012 and only shown on festivals. I didn't thought that was weird or something because that's what happens to more movies before they reach the cinema's. And then I noticed it was in cinema's already, only in a few country's and the UK in one of them! (The Netherlands excluded gehhe) And only in one little independent cinema in Bristol not too far away from my home, so I'm lucky haha.
So, yesterday I went there! Jonathan (my host father) offered me to bring me when I walked upon him when I left the house, he wanted to have a small talk, but I said I was going to be late.
When I got there I bought a ticket (special students price yeh) and went in. It was a little cinema room and my ticket wasn't attached to a chair, so I took a good place in the middle of the screen ^^

The movie is in some kind of old english and I'm proud I could understand it =D The movie is in black and white and that's really funny because everybody lives a modern life with iPod's, modern phones and stuff, but they speak old english and the colours are in black and white. 2 old elements in a modern world.
The movie itself was sooo funny. It was dialog, dialog, dialog but it didn't got boring or slow and the story really got me (: Also, the actors were really funny, what they did and stuff. Hiding behind a little branch, yeh, nobody can see you then?? falling from the stairs, showing off your abs in an obvious way
Especially Clark Gregg was funny.
I'd see it again hhaha.

Week 2

You know that moment when you are trying to read and some person is making photo's of you?

I sure do!

Luckily, I'm being a master at taking revenge hahahahhaha.

And a good thing about the uk is that there is so much more attention to super heroes =D every where I go I can find something!

Also, I saw this. Thought is was worth sharing.

The friday filmclub showed Looper, that also made me very happy (:

Saturday I went to Bath.

Visited the old roman baths.

Also visited the abbey and when we were there a priest began his prayers, soo that happend.

I don't know how to pray actually.

A downside of this week is that one of the inmates is such an annoying person.

He is so noisy, I can write chapters about it.

Maybe I'll do that once, to relieve.

But for now, let's keep this a happy post!

First week.

It's been a while since I checked in on you, but this week has been crazy fun.
As you know I live in the UK now to learn english, but I thought my english was worse than it actually is. I'm in the advanced class.

How the travel went?
Well, I went to Amsterdam by train, that was all okay. When I was at Schiphol I needed to check in, that was something, you need to do it yourself now. They wanted extra info from my ID because I was traveling to the UK or something, some woman standing there said she had never seen that before idk.
Then I wanted to check in my luggage and believe it or not, you need to do it yourself now! And of course, the device was like, ain't gonna help you... move to the help desk and I did and after a while we knew why that horrible thing didn't like me and I didn't have to pay for my luggage after all.
I went straight to the first bench an sat there ate some bread and went to the plane. It was a little plane I needed to go there by bus. The plane was full of british ppl, I would have expected a few more dutch people. And all the british people were sleeping hahah. They woke up for a free drink an cookies though haha. After slightly longer than an hour, we were a bit delayed because of the wind I arrived in the always great Britain!
I took the shuttle bus to Clifton, the neighborhood I live in and where the school is.

I arrived and I live with a south korean girl and a swiss girl (they barely speak any english) and a swiss guy whose english is slightly better. A spanish guy left today after 5 months.
I'm in a class of 8, the day starts at 9:15 with grammar, end at 11. A half hour break then some reading. Which is soo easy, we made a mock exam and over like, 40 questions I made 2 mistaked, and I'm not unproud of that haha. We stop at 12:45, then we have a lunch break and go somewhere to eat.
I had this enormous hotdog on tuesday haha! Everybody had to take a picture of it and I followed along haha.

Then we continue at 14:00 with writing on mondays and wednesdays and an elective on tuesdays and thursdays. I chose film studies. There is one dutch person in that class and it started on thursday so I haven't seen a dutch person till then so I got a tiny bit excited haha. He also likes Inception and Batman.

The 13'th we had afternoon tea at Browns, what else do you do when you're in the uk? haha. It was fun, we had scones, little sandwiches and some pieces of pie. We also had to do the pinkie hahah.

On friday after school they organize the friday film club, we saw Prometheus. I expected a bit more from that movie to be honest, because of the little hype, but it was a fun little movie.

The 14'th I went to see Man of Steel. 6 days early because it isn't due until the 20'th in the netherlands hahahahah!!! I loved the movie!!

On saturday we went to Windsor Castle, I loved it. Both the bus trip and the castle and the little town itself. I bought a new umbrella hahah. Juliana for Columbia also bought one and we took a picture haha. (more pictures form the castle will follow, but I felt too lazy to look them through yet)

I also apologize for the spelling mistakes and lack of capital letters, I'm a lazy person for now, ok.

Room guard

Since I'll leave tomorrow, I made deadpool guardian of my room. So watch out everyone!!

I also finished packing and I just think I packed too much even tough everything fits in my suitcase and it's under 23kg. It's just too much.. Sigh. Oh well.

And I'm continuing the countdown because I can do a peace sign today, just like all the Chinese do!

Bought my train ticket today, only need to pack some more stuff and decide which shoes to take with me ( :| ) and I'm good to go!

Bearded woman

I dyed my hair!! It's now a few shades darker than it was before, 

but the difference is really noticeable.

And I thought it was funny to give myself a beard, ok. 

Also got sum thangs, you can see me wearing it below.

Also got a new suitcase, so I'm packing...

Sometimes, when I go shopping, I go all manly and... I search for chairs.
Then I get woman again and take a selfie, just to show others how manly I am and buy nothing!!

When we were done shopping we went somewhere to have a drink and I was sitting next to Jude Law!!

Well, there was an advertising with his face on it next to me...

And I just started to notice how many of my fav celebs do adverts for something; Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow, Zooey Deschanel, Ryan Reynolds... Especially when I'm at a drug store I notice them.

When it comes to food, I can sometimes act like an obese person. I just eat and eat and eat until it's gone and there's nothing left :c

Today I made some lasagna for myself. I love lasagna and never buy those tiny servings, only the ones for multiple persons, just for meee! It makes me feel like Garfield.

As for ice cream, which I also love very, very much I'm a Chris Evans.

Last time I had ice cream meant for 10 servings, but I ate it by myself in one time.

I REGRET NOTHING!!!

See that little explosion of happiness bloggers? That's because there's 7 days left till I leave to Bristol!!
And there is still so much to do, but luckily only small things, like buying shampoo and a toothbrush.

I'm getting a bit nervous for the trip, it's the first time I'm flying alone. This time there's no one to say 'Hen, that's the wrong gate you dumbass'
But I guess everything will be all right but mostly it's my family following me at the airport. Hmmm, I just hope I won't be lonely without my 3 'apostles'

I just have a feeling my blog is more of a blogger blog and not a tumblr blog with all those pretty pictures and stuff. A diary isn't something for Tumblr I guess.

I hope all my posts transported well to Blogspot and nothing looks too weird, all thats left now is finding a good(or at least) better layout and make this blog MINE!!!

Granny's birthday

They took my blood!!
But I survived, I had a little panic attack and it took me the whole day to recover, but I survived!!


Then I went on to celebrate omi’s 90 st birthday. We had some cake and gave her her presents, then I went to the car to pick up dad but it was rush hour so it took me long to get back and I was still feeling a bit weak.


And I dressed up Scato but he isn’t wearing any pants!! 😱😱

How I spend money

Everything sound sooo good now with my new EarPods. My old pair decided all of a sudden to stop doing what they are best at. But luckily I had a 10 euro discount on a new pair (:


And I bought this dress and I looove it. The fabric is so soft and smooth.
But first I thought I needed size 2, maybe 3. I took a size 2 to the fitting room and I ended up with size 1 and I have some extra space left in that dress, but you can’t really tell so its no prob.
But I couldn’t take a picture because I still haven’t bought a good mirror and my other mirror is small and isn’t attached to the wall yet and I can’t take a good picture with my MacBook because the camera isn’t good enough for such a pretty dress and and and my brother didn’t want to take a picture :’(

This week

Blowing bubbles at work(secretly), buying stuff for England, drinking tea with a tstick(it’s a tea bag and a spoon and doenst drip when I take it out), going to a (expensive) comic store and buying nothing, being happy with a free Jupiler Summer Short dad gave me (he has a box full of them to give away) and cooking.
That’s my week in a nutshell.

I ordered my flight tickets to Bristol a few days ago and in a week or so I hear where I’ll be staying the next months precisely.


And I watched Iron Man 3 last night, again.
I watched it online and well, the quality wasn’t that bad, it was more like a bad DVD rip and that’s a compliment for a cam version, right?
By the way, I have Blue by Eiffel65 stuck in my head now, all day actually.


And this evening I watched the Eurovision songcontest. And Graham Norton is amazing!!
I always watch his show, so listening to the guy for hours isn’t something bad to me.
I’d like to visit his show some day. And also Ellen, I love Ellen too!!

So we kind of hunted our customers with these things haha. It’s weird but they are actually addicting you just want to spin it again to see if it will stick a few seconds longer to the ceiling than the previous time.

When I get hurt.. I laugh

I got injured very, very bad at work, Nah not really, but it’s okay because I got a turtle on my bandaid. And some other cool animals, like dinosaurs and a mouse and an elephant and a snake with glasses!!
